The Starchy Sound Potatoes Make While Peeled
a work leading to another work/ photographic installation/ inkjet prints of various sizes

I was paddling back and forth between imagery that I have made and imagery I have found, treating each image as a sentence, one leading to the next. I fought against the politeness of the print; I have expanded and contracted, squeezing for juice. What I found in the end is a pull and push between admitting and hiding a wanting to touch and an urge to shudder. A longing to conquer the frustration of translating racing, blooming associative thought into still image.
